Hello from Adelaide
« on: September 15, 2011, 08:53:32 PM »
This intro has been a long time coming, but here we go. My name is Phil I am from Adelaide and have over the last few years have been reading the forum mainly the suzuki posts.I have rebuilt and raced several pre 75 suzukis including a 1973 TM 250, a 1974TM 250 ,a 1974 TM 400,and  a 1974 TM 125. Also currently working on a 1976 RM 370 and on the back burner is a 1977 RM 250...(need some parts for this project) I enjoy reading the info put up in the forum and hope that at some time I can have something worth adding to the conversation.Probably the biggest prompt to pull the finger out and get on to introducing myself was having the pleasure of having a ride at the nationals at Crystal Brook on the weekend.
I was fortunate enough to have my youngest daughter Sarah ride in some of the same races as I did, we really had a lot of fun.The weekend was just fantastic and much praise must be poured onto "Freaky" a job well done!! and to the passionate members of the Crystal Brook club...Well done Graham Eberhard.
This was a great event and we are looking forward to having a ride again next year at the nationals.
Cheers everyone, Phil "Nipper" White.

Cheers Freaky, yeah you are right it is the people "on the tools " behind the scenes that make these event great.
By the way I have had a little look at the jetting on the TM 125 it is way too rich and the adjustment on the oil pump was no where near it should have been that probably has a lot to do with the smoke screen she throws up during a race.
Thanks again
