Best Of British
« on: August 19, 2011, 09:16:01 PM »
With the upcoming Annual Dan Ferguson Millfarm at Wandering in Western Australia,CCMs' 40th Birthday and a last practise run before the Classic Nationals in SA...
The antisipation is up there with the high shine JBR fuel tank at a UK Sunday show... :P  ;D
I'm wondering what your thoughts on the Best of British from back in the day are in 2011 ?
cheers A

Cmon Alison you get 4 years for inciting a riot on social media in the UK.

Of course it is Cheney BSA .... still dominating pre 65 in the UK

Cmon Ali you are just tweaking my nipples with the Norton..... it has an extra growth out the side of it.

This for me is the high water market for British bikes, god knows I love my Ricky's but Jupiter aligned with Mars with the Cheney twin.... just forget Catalina's and Tr6 desert sleds.... nothing on Eric's master piece that shouldn't be there/

don't know too much about Brit bikes but starting to read more.4 stroke seems to be anything using a BSA b50 motor.2 stroke from what I've seen late 60s Greeves 250 (with the ceriani forks),using their own engines.

Agreed.

1st choice would be a JBR Honda, preferably one of Rod Spry's builds.
2nd, a '78 CCM
3rd, the little beauty in the picture  :)

I can't read the small print but perhaps it might be one of the long awaited Chinese offerings from our old mate?
