G'day Caps if you put the YZ bits on the DT1 it won't be pre70 it will be pre75 its up to you the way you go.I've got a DT1 and its got bits from all over the years on it.I made my seat from a XT seat base I just cut the base to make it fit and then fiberglassed over the cuts now I have a seat base that is lighter and won't rust.
Just a balless freak having a go

One of the most sort after items for DT/RT's - they seem prone to rusting. Good luck.

get or make a fibreglass replacement is probably tour best shot. I have seen after market seat covers on evilbay. There are probably fibreglass bases out there somewhere. If Firko has made his way over to this forum he should be a good source.

Yeah he does.

Somebody who has already posted in this thread (who isn't me or Jimson) offered me a pair of DT250A forks in need of rechroming about a month ago - might still have 'em?  ;)
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.
