Think I will keep it and restore it instead ????????
Found out it was last raced at Hillview Muswellbrook 6 hour where it seized in the 2nd hour. Was dumped in the bush for 12 months (1963-4) then the old mate found it and brought it home in bits. Sat like that ever since until he moved recently, was taking it to the dump when I dropped in for a visit, good timing.

Followed me home, wife said I can keep it. :-)



Old mate was putting the motor and back wheel in a Ducati frame and dump the rest. Talked him out of it. Montesa '77 H6 Enduro

When MX and trail went "single shock" 3 ute and trailer loads of "twin shocks"were taken to the Whitford tip by one of the major importers!!

It's an RT 250,It should have an SK frame number prefix.They came with the later style black forks and mega muffler.
Good save.Another Husky back to life.

This is a bit off the track. Went to the Orange tip the other day and found a heap of Seagulls scavenging. Orange is at least 250kms from the nearest coast. Just a bit of useless trivia.
