How many bikes!

While we are on the stats. How many bikes do you have. I started out a few years ago just saying to my wife I only need one. Now I have nine in various states of repair.Probably not that many compared to most of you guys. Why do we need so many?

I am actually embarrased to say on this one but I dont have a single vmxer.

I started out 10 years ago and quickly gathered about 6 or 7 projects but soon discovered I couldnt afford to do it. So I sold them all plus my DR750 Motard project (should have kept that one!) and stayed with just one for a while. Now I have three - an 05 YZ125, a 75 RM125 and a 1980 IT175G. That's all I can afford to run!!

But if money were no object... it'd be a very different story.

weeeellllll, I bought a YZ125f as a project, then that was taking too long and I was keen to go riding, so Rusty had a PE175 that was ready to go, so I bought that as a fill-in, then this BSA thing came along so I had to buy that, then a YZ125C project turned up for the right price so that got added to the collection.

Now I have to figure out how I'm going to wheel two complete bikes from the garage that weren't there before, plus negotiate the purchase of a registered trail bike cause there's really good riding to be had 15 mins from where I live.
