It doesn't really matter what the average age is there are always going to be people alot higher or a lot lower in age I wonder if we tried it again in a years time I am assuming it would go up and then you could have a guess at what it might be in 5 years time thanks Michael. :)

Of course Frosty you are 100% correct. It was'nt untill I submitted my last post on this subject that I saw how many had viewed this topic (approx 1600). That only 56 of that 1600 or about 3% played the game is piss poor weak. Did'nt think I was asking anyone for there bank account details but there you go.

If you could get some more numbers it would be interesting as I think next year it will go up it all depends on are more younger or older guys getting into vmx so it would interesting to see how far if at all that figure changes.

I think you will find that the 1600 or now 1700 lookers are the same guys coming back for a look several times to see what others have written.

Generally I would say their is about a hundred lookers at every thread, which rises after someone has replied.

SI  I said it didn't I? No you're right, I have to come out and say it properly.
I'M 51- there I said it though I don't beleive it as I'm still 20 in a 50+ chassis. Should have a pre '60 class but not sure if I'm a 2stroke or 4 yet. I like a lot of premix (scotch & ice) but can run on straight (beer).
Married for years to the same great model and 2 kids that should leave home soon (we hope.any suggestions)
Owner/manager of exhaust, mechanical, brakes, suspension shop.
Raced solos in the 70s long enough to work out I was too slow then turned to " sidecar passenger " what ever that is. Just the shit on the side according to Wally.
Speaking of which- Wheres Wally???

54/ married/ 1 no longer riding son (22) /I sell boat stuff.

When my son stopped racing at 18 I thought my life was over. I told my misses that he quit...I didn't. I will be racing as long as I can throw my leg over the seat without any help and can see where I'm going. Even then I might make up a rig of some kind to get on the bike and by that time there will be goggles that will take over for the bad eyesight!

GMC, yeah are probably right in what you said about the numbers being the same 100 or so coming back for a geek. Never thought of looking at it like that.

1963 Vintage. Just clicked over 25 years of marriage, and strangely to the same woman. 3 girls 22, 21 & 19 all doing well and not giving me any problems. Work for a Japanese car company as a Snr Manager in the After Sales / Engineering area. Spend most Saturdays working at a bike shop that is run by my mate, although work is not quiet correct as all we do is we take the piss out of each other and anyone who gets caught in the middle.
