Cool Smed, are there any more?
In the second shot with Fraze on his back, #4 looks like Kevin Kessing on his brother John's Hagon Jap.
There was always plenty of action at Amaroo Park SC, I have NFI who 548 is but he def got out of shape big time, looks like a B or C grade race to me.
Foss?

I loved Amaroo Pk dirt track.....my all time favourite dirt track. As an aside...Over the years I managed to race on all of Amaroo's tracks...the road race track, MX and DT on bikes and raced my FJ holden on the hill climb. It was a neat little venue.

I used to ride my pushy down the hillclimb, that was blast.
We had one club day there around 79 - 80, I rode my A5 250 with K70's, same tyres we used on the DT.
How hairy was the straight ( Curve ) when it rained, woohoo.

Wow, I was at that test match at Salty Creek, that's Roland into the fence backwards and Chris a split second before breaking his collarbone, first test and he missed most of the series.

Awesome Smedley, the 125 that Kevin Fraser rode was owned and tuned by a Ron Mackenzie, a nicer bloke you'd never meet and always wore immaculate white overalls, sadly Ron passed away early this year.
It wasn't in an original Hagon frame but a very common copy, Kevin raced it in about 152 races for 150 wins, 1 engine failure and 1 get off, pretty impressive record.
All that talk about how brave Short Circuit ( DT ) riders are doesn't surprise me, anyone can ride an MX bike. ;) :P

Top stuff that. The last pic features L to R #318 Micheal Cady #200 Garry Harriman
#297 Keith Davies #49 Kevin Fraser and on the inside Peter Laws and I can't make out the others  Pretty good line up and all on sliders.

The guy with JAP on his leathers, just over Fraz's left shoulder, I think is Terry Poole, 1972 OZ Champ.

I agree  Slides,
I  knew I'd seen those leathers before! Not a bad crew into the 1st corner.

The DT Sidecar boys should be drooling over that photo, a full grid heading into turn one, somewhere? I have no doubt there are a few legends in that shot but I never really paid the chairs much attention.
That Speedway Solo looking skyward is a freaking 2 stroke, someone must remember who it is because there weren't many.
I took a punt on the Smedley thing.
We're back on a roll Mark.

#2 is Stephen Gall, looks like he may have started things off, he was the big winner that day.
212 - ? Metcalfe, 77 - Glen Macdonald, 318 - ? Cady, 79 - Len Norris, 75 I think is Matt Daley.
Not sure who poor old #54 is, great sequence shots.
Buckett, you were there, how'd I go?

WooHoo!  what a pile up.
#54 would be Gary O'Brian.  Gall was a hard charger . If there was an opening he would go for it. Great rider and the rest in that pic weren't to shabby either!
Griffith late '70's, All Powers semi I think, I lined up on the outside of Steve and got a great start. Headed straight for the inside line and there was bugger all room between me and the grass but Gally made room ;D Slight contact and that was the last I saw of him. Great racing imo. My moment of glory was but brief. ;)
