I'm gunna print it out on photo paper and frame it, I was somewhere to the right of pic waving a flag for the day, awesome to watch !!

Oh yeah, I think the corner was called Energol not CC in those days,

its someones back yard now all houses there on large blocks.both sydneys road racing tracks have gone that way.

 From memory Foss Geoff was riding a rigid MAC  Velo that day with oil leaking onto the rear wheel! I suspect anyone else would have pulled into the pits!.
 If I can figure how to make this damn equipment copy slides like it's meant to do I can put this pic up from the original slide which is  better quality.
 I think the Triumph you were referring to may be the Bonnie riden by Ray Curtis. I will never forget the sight of Ray coming into Energol corner on that monster using up all the track!

22" or 23" inch back wheel and check out those handlebars, not long after that the trend was for big wide bars, now it's gone full circle.
Everything old is new again.
PC won a world title then was killed in a racing accident way too young, mid 20's I think.

   Great shot slidz  ! theres a website about his career well worth a read "tribute to Peter Craven" aparently he and Jack Young had a great friendly rivalry when he came out to oz - A great rider they nicknamed the" wizard of balance "  :)cheers
