this 125X just went up to Ray in central QLD. It's stock apart from the aftermarket front guard and the DG exhaust. Dodgee built this bike from parts basically so the bits are out there if you hunt around. I don't imagine there would have been a great difference between the x and z only to say maybe the Z was a little more refined. good luck, I reckon the Z model in all capacities look the ducks nuts ;)

Most notable difference is Z went to full cylinder reed induction where X is case reed induction  :)

X was prone to head leakage and Z wasn't. I think later Z motor is better bet.

I think the x is a far superior bike to the z. The x defo had the much stronger engine.
Parts are still around but getting rarer

New bike anyone ?

so why was the x prone to head leak then. cause if it is an x model. is the problem bad enough not to buy it or would a z head bolt on and fix it or even go with the z barrel to
