Reading about this bike in Motocross Racers last night. Was it as awsome as said or a bit of hype? Do they ever come up for sale? Surly they must of cut some corners from the works bike to build it?

The Puch MX250 is one of motocross histories most enigmatic bikes. There were only 95 of them made and they were all pretty much identical to Harry (father of Stefan) Everts 1975 World 250 title winning bike. Althoug Puch had made a mediocre 125 and 175 for a number of years the success of the MC250 took everyone by surprise. The full Puch MC250 story is beautifully told by Ray Ryan in VMX #14.

Lust. Pure lust. It's the only way to describe the MC250.
