G'day Tom, honestly mate, if you don't have any luck here whack it on ebay..you'd probably find someone who has a klx would be more interested than someone looking for a new project or the individual parts may sell easier..eg. separate the wheels, front end, swingarm, shocks, frame and list individually.

My Dad bought a KLX 250 brand new when they first came out, around 1981 or 1982?? Does that sound right? Impressed the crap outta me at 12/13 years old!!  ;D ;D  Then he bought the first XR500, Holy SMOKIN Joe was I impressed. But yeah, I remember it being a strong thing that vibrated every nut and bolt loose but strong for a two fiddy 4 banger. Pity you don't have the rest of the bike.
