Husky WR430
« on: December 10, 2013, 01:02:47 PM »
I have a surplus 1982 Husky WR430. It's almost complete & needs some work. The tank is dented as they all are, the seat is conspicuous by it's absence as are the kick start lever & foot pegs (all easily sourced). The bike looks to be relatively low use but has been sitting out for some time and is a tad weathered here & there. Nothing trashed & most will clean up with a bit of spit & polish, still has working original Ohlins but I would suggest a service on them. The engine turns freely and has good spark, but very low  compression and will not start. The best I can get is a backfire. The transmission shifts & seems to work as it should. Good start for a classic big bore vinduro bike. $1250 located in Bendigo. Send your email address for photo's.
I can supply the missing components & some new plastic at an extra cost should anyone be interested.
