What are the chances of obtaining a genuine  1976 or '77 C@J swingarm?
I'd say even odds....Jeff Cole has set up C&J Frames again and is doing a roaring trade.

Its interesting this replica stuff and the suckers that fall for it..

a certain 70's Bathurst car was recently purchased for a large sum.

a certain person who assisted in building the car in the 80's was contacted by the new owner who spruiked about the car for 20 minutes whilst unbeknown to him, the assistant builder was staring at the real car in his back yard....where it had been under a tarp for 30 +years.

Something was going to end badly there.....

Here's the Lackey bike, photographed in the AMA Museum "Motocross America" exhibition in 2008. I'd presume they'd have the real deal on show rather than a replica.

I don't really know what that means Walter. If a bike had history of genuinely being a championship entered, pro ridden example, wouldn't it then obviously be as good as it could be for its time?
I think ex works stuff is just awesome, particularly the factory sponsored hand made stuff.
Cheers, Grahame

THE Euro Market... that will be interesting to see if "austerity measures" have hit the biking dept.

look at the US, the place is in the toilet but Arizona mike has hit new heights with prices? amazing philosophy.

obviously doesn't need social security
