Hello i am Maarten from the Netherlands.
I found this site by searching for montesa stuff. Its the only second forum i find with a montesa part .The other one is tumoverde in spain.
At age of 12 (1980)i got a cota 123 . I rode it for 6 years almost every day .
When i became 14 i wanted to race mx and wanted to go for a honda cr 125 but my father didn`t allow it.That was japanese rubbisch .
Because he had lived for 20 years in spain he came allong with a brand new 1980 cappra 125vf.
I didn`t like it because it was the time the japanese bikes became popular and better.
However i race it about 6 years .At the time the bike was ugly but it rode remarcable well .It go fast whith only 24ps.
When the bike seized i sold it for a electric gitar
Later when i was merried i started race again first on a 88 kx250
after that a yzf400 ,and a crf450. After riding 3 years 4stroke i was thinkin what is wrong with me.But it was`t me ,
it was the 4stroke what was quilty .With a exc300 2stroke i was back again.
Then i got a montesa h7 360 witch i now transforming to a cappra to race in the dutch twinshock competition.
Later more .I must saddle the horses my daughters must go to the ponyclub
