Husqvarna head cr250 sizing & measurements needed 1977-88
« on: November 21, 2016, 05:12:04 PM »
Hi guru's,

Can anybody check the diagonal measurements between the diagonals through bolts (eye to eye) and also the stud holes opposite (on the 6 bolt heads). What is the standard bore size??

If the measurements stack up, I'll be in need a spare head if anyone has one laying around for sale!!

Thanks in advance!!

Another one folks, do the cr390's heads have the same 6 bolt spacing as the 250's or are the holes the spaced differently??

Cheers!!

So which info do you actually want? '74 mag 250 -'77 are pretty much the same engine ('74 head is different in the fin style), 1978 is a new (different engine), mainly cylinder & head design.
As for the 390's, 1977-1979 are the same, 1980 is a different engine ("big shaft") with different stud spacings etc. Not much interchanges with the earlier engines.
I can help with '74-'77 250 measurements & '77-'79 & 1980 390 measurements.
Let me know which you actually want?
K
