Bel-Ray® MC-1 Racing Full Synthetic 2T Engine Oil is a 2-stroke motorcycle racing oil that was developed in the 1970s specifically as a high dilution ratio pre-mix racing 2T motorcycle oil and continues to offer riders of historic off-road motorcycles the quality engine oil that they have been using for years. It is a true icon in the off-road motorcycle industry. MC-1 is recommended for use in air-cooled, non-power valve 2-stroke racing engines and is intended as a premix — not designed for injection/autolube systems. MC-1 continues to provide the absolute best in early off-road engine lubrication. Not suitable for methanol fuel.

Mic - this will start a bun fight - each to their own of course.

I use Silkolene Light Gear oil and Comp 2 Pro SX for fuel mix - have had no dramas whatsoever and available at Supercheap.

Oil debates are the single most polarising subject I have ever seen on internet forums, I have witnessed some extremely heated arguments that have led to people leaving groups or being banned.

Always entertaining at the very least.

I'll be keeping my .02c worth to myself though.

wow 75 to 1 sure aint much oil there, along way from the std back in the day 20 to 1 and would need some carb rejetting to suit.id like to see some back to back dyno runs to see which made the most power between the 2 fuel mixes with the jetting adjusted to suit.

I have an lc 400 husky and a 010 kato 300 and I run them on the same mix. I have run them at up to 100 to 1 for years. I rebuilt the husky in 011 with new bearings and seals used the piston and ring that were in it (std bore) and it runs a treat. Ive had it flat out in the desert and plugging away in the mountains, bogged at Harrow etc so far so good. bikes go good, clean smooth no probs. I have them jetted lean so I can get the bikes to pull clean from 100 rpm as that's what im usually down to as I struggle over the top of hills and in creeks etc paddling and pushing swearing and farting.....

Being aircooled may be a factor for your elsinore but lots of guys run the aircooled huskys at 50 to 1. you need to ensure you have a deep base oil to run lean ratios. its a personal choice and if I thought I needed another hp at the expense of a litre extra of oil per drum full I would run 25 to 1 as it appears that dyno work shows that the richer you run the oil there is a slight increase in hp.

A comparison using the same bike on the spot would be neat to do

a bunch of guys went to WA for a KTM run years and after a blast across the lake Lefroy area they asked  what the fuel mix was and they said 100 to 1 Motorex. I run them all on that 75 to 100:1 now. including the whipper snipper the blower vac the lawnmower..(its a 4-) even the 510 gets a lung full of mix every so often (lazy)

don't run a new engine on these lean mixes. give a new engine plenty of oil for 2 or 3 tanks at least.
