Yamaha AT2E, 90% finished project.
« on: March 25, 2014, 09:20:09 PM »
SOLD.
SOLD.

Was to be a fun little ride to the shops bike, but have lost interest.
It was built from all the best bits I had when I was going though my AT1 craze... Stuff like a good pair of original shocks, for example.
It's been sitting at a mate's place for long enough that I forgot I owned it... ::)

Work that's been done:
Frame taken back to bare metal and repainted;
Motor rebuilt, including new bearings and seals, new piston & rebore;
Body work all painted in The cream, the bone, the white, the off-white, the ivory, or the beige. I was planning on adding a burgundy stripe like the white/red of the 70s YZ works bikes;
New sprockets & o-ring chain;
New/good levers and grips;
Switchgear refurbished;
Old style tall Renthal alloy bars, polished;
New seat cover.

Still needs:
Wiring finished off;
Seat foam (were easily available on US Ebay last time I looked);
Some assembly.

Bike is in Canberra, can bring to Yass if that suits.
Price... Ah, I dunno... $750?
