Haha Jumbo....in your dreams, I do have 1 NOS one left but that is for my 370.....they are as rare as rocking horse poo....and expensive. It's a pity that the repo ones are nothing like the original in shape and colour. No worries James, will put aside for you. Send me your ph number, cheers John.

We repair them by cutting off the old tubing and welding a bigger new one in place. Welding the old one never seems to last and distorts the bearing hole.

I don't think they do green, just yellow and white, I will ask the question.

OK guy's, I am bringing in a bunch of Preston Petty Tony D front guards that will be here for CD12 at Conondale in June. By doing a bulk buy I can get them at a good deal and pass it on, the price will be about the $85 mark, if you buy direct from the US with postage you are looking at well over double that with the way our Pacific peso is. I will bring the white [Yamaha] and Yellow [Suzuki] in, if you want any of the other colours let me know. You can check out their website. I will also bring some of the white and yellow oval number boards, same thing, let me know so you don't miss out. These products are 100% the best, even many works riders used them on their bikes [Stephen Gall's 1981 YZ465 that won the Aussie title has one on it!]. ph 0412747729, cheers John.

Tech Talk / Re: best fuel to run?

Talking of Maxima 927, it is the oil of choice for Go Kart engines.....and there isn't any 2 stroke engines that work harder than what they do....it is also very clean as it does not leave deposits on pistons etc. If your local supplier doesn't have it, tell them to get it in. Maxima is the #1 selling motorcycle oil in the USA. And like the boy's say, they support VMX.

Leith, I got a good front plate in the right yellow [pale] from Italy, it's not 100% correct but looks pretty good, was cheap to. The Italians make so much plastic for bikes.

Tech Talk / Re: RM370 Cylinder head volume ?

You'll probably find the reason that there are only a few homologated fuels is because the supplier has to pay MA for the privilege.....so they can spend it mostly on Road Racing events.

But all the DG heads etc had the plugs straight up and down and in the centre Leith. What about the heads that had the combustion chamber more to the intake side to stop pinging and to run a higher compression. They tried all sorts of things.
