You are correct. 4 to 5 thou inch per inch of bore is fine. Use a piston to make sure ring sits square to the bike when measuring the gap. Measure 0.5 inch down from top of bore in running area of the ring. If bore is new then can measure where Husky manuals shows. If gap is too tight the bike can nip up due to ring seizure. Has happened to my Husky 500 and was easily fixed.

I watched it live on the international livestream subscription available from supercrosslive.tv Great to not have to wait until someone posts the races on You Tube. Also great to see Chad Reed still in action at a high level looking like a privateer! Really love the Supercross and was lucky enough attend to Daytona race in 2015. If you can ever get to an event then don’t miss the chance.

Big K is correct. The Timkens are what Husky uses. I have fitted many a set to my restorations. They fit.

The WR is likely to have the SEM ignition. Swedish Electrical Mystery.

17 degrees BTDC sounds right.

The Photobucket app says $399.99 per year to host photos for third party websites. Very expensive.

1989 only unless you have written evidence to submit to MA to apply for a follow on year to be made eligible due to lack of model changes. Don't expect anyone has bothered to do this with an enduro bike for VMX yet. Perhaps your local club will be sympathetic. Good luck.

Not sure what half filling achieves? I would be concerned about uneven absorption of fuel or uneven drying out. A complete fill would be better surely ????

Very good work. Don't forget Russell Brown is the local Aussie guru of cast clutch covers. He does the Husky covers for air cooled bikes as well as numerous Honda water cooled covers.

Standard 7/8 inch bars fit no problem of course. Pick the rise to suit your height. Being slightly lanky I run the Jimmy Button or the RC High bend in Renthal on my Huskys.  Fat bars will require new clamps.

It's the 88 model. 87 has the black radiator shrouds and slimmer tank and seat. Otherwise very similar. Great bikes.
