Bike Talk / RM 125 crankcase swap
« on: May 20, 2012, 07:35:51 pm »
Is it allowable to use RM 125C crankcases on a RM 125B motor and still comply the bike as a pre 78 ? I have had a look at Alpha sports web site and the part numbers for the B and C crankcases are the same.
I am currently rebuilding a motor for a RM 125B and there is some damage to the cases , so i thought i would use the C cases, is this a no no ?

Are the CDI units for the RM 125 A and the RM 125 B interchangeable ? I have a RM 125 B motor and stator but have the RM 125 A CDI. Were ther any differences between these CDI units.

Wanted / Re: wanted / swap RM125 A/B airbox
« on: March 16, 2012, 11:37:21 am »
HiJohn,
I have an air box that is marked as a PE175 not sure what year, but I have compared it to the RM 125 B air box on my old bike and they look pretty similar. Maybe check alpha sports for the numbers if they are the same this might be an option.
