Hi guys
I have a wheel set for sale that I was going to use for a project.
Front wheel is an 84 disc and the rear a really nice 83 hub laced into a 19in.
Rims are red SM pro and hubs have been powder coated gold mica (nice colour in the light).
Spokes are HD stainless steel.
I have a front disc, XR forks and brake system (not yet recoed)
Some other 83 250 stuff like a ready to go frame with ID plate.
Tank, split bottom end, Rads
84 foot pegs with those hard to find springs.
81 450 tank, seat, new maier plastics (slightly darker colour)
After reasonable offers
can deliver to Heaven Canberra round

Imported from the states a few years ago, she still had the original front tyre on and factory chain and sprockets.
I casually raced it for a year then parked it.

what the difference between 82 cr hubs/wheel and 83 are they interchangable
which ones use buttered spokes(thinking 82) and which uses parallel
need to supply Titmans with hub/spoke difference and Inter-changeability

FOR SALE 84 CR 250
will be at Vintage MR Motocross 30 oct for viewing and maybe Heaven round at Canowindra this weekend
has had a ground up rebuild
frame powder coated so to are the wheels, new tyres
this bike has a really nice swing arm, hardly a scratch
wider foot pegs
PSI exhaust and DG tail pipe(repacked)
new stuff at resto (5hours a go)
throttle cable and housing
new clutch cable and perch
Renthal Honda bend bars
top end (68mil but you can use a 85 piston and get another rebore)
wheel bearings
new seat cover ,a tall gripper (have standard cover if you want)
front brake system off late 90's cr (runs better pad selection) and great for stoppies
shock serviced, heavier rear spring
new fork seals
chain and sprockets and slider
New water pump seal and reconditioned cover (metal glued and sealed plus another cover)
some spares depending on final price
Located in Queanbeyan near ACT

I have decided to sell my cr250
these pics are from first ride
its done maybe 5-6 hours in total but basically looks the same, bar the seat cover its now a gripper with slightly taller foam.
Old cover comes with bike ,fresh top end, PSI exhaust with dg tail pipe, powder coated wheels frame ect. no fork gaters.
heavy rear spring
asking 3600 ono
can most likey drop off at Heaven rounds as I have buddies racing with the club

Hey guys
got some new maier plastics for a 81 450 cr resto that Im doing off evil bay US, but they are a darker red more like the fighting red of a 88 cr.
has any one come across this? Whats the go did I get ripped, are they like factory seconds or just a bad colour match

anyone got a suggestion for a rear spring rate for an 84 cr250re
I have got Terry Hays tri rate springs in the front on the .46 setting(which I am happy with)
the rear is pus, not sure what was standard or what rate to go
