ive had a ton of issues over the years with the points on those things, look again at them..

Allways use Honda Genuine points, most with generic ones have problems
-
what about the condenser, when was it last replaced?they dry out with age and a dud condenser means no spark
-
My mikuni came from Hatrix pre jetted spot on for XL250

Any up and down movement- wear- of the advance mechanism, or shudder, the cam will make life hard for the points.

Thanks for the replys will start from the begining rewire

CT 110 electronic ignition fits, MAKE SURE THE FIBRE WASHER IS IN PLACE BETWEEN THE POINTS AND BACKING PLATE. You need to fit a much smaller needle tube to the 34mm.
-
fit an electrex world electronic ignition and your bike will be transformed ... best cash youll spend
-
:new points 30 piolet will see how it goes at nepean in a few week
