Can I replace the R/H crank seal behind the stator without splitting the cases? Cheers

Yes you can change the ignition side seal easily (without splitting the cases).

I have also changed the left side crank seal on a 390 motor before , without splitting the cases . The left main bearing was outside the seal , so I had to break out the cage of the bearing and then pull it out with a long , narrow 2 jawed puller in between the ball bearings . I then pulled the left crank seal out and replaced it with a new seal and new bearing .
