Title: The Old Boys Side Piper
Post by: 090 on December 09, 2008, 10:35:22 PM
Well we got it going on sunday and it sounds sweet. The paint hasn't come through well in the pics as its a better red. I thought it might end up a bit of a wog job but i think it looks great.

Should it have tank decals or badges? I reckon i should drop a couple of my projects over to him so he don't get bored over xmas.

Thanks guys. Special thanks to the internet detective Paul for finding such a gem and passing it (them) onto us. Dads keen to start on the 250 sidepiper next.
Shortshifter,  the bike will be seeing plenty of track time next year and i will be riding it mostly.
A couple of little things maybe, nothing much at all Paul.

Brad ,do you know what the tank is on your dad's Sidepiper ? Is it an original CZ one , or something aftermarket like a Lyta ? The reason that I ask is because I have one the same , only bare alloy on an MJ Husky frame .

No Mark. It came with the bike and is definitely aftermarket. Someone told me what it was but it went in one ear and out the other. Jikov i think told me what it was (Michael B)
