Tech Talk / Changing triple clamps

XT 250 2 valve,
Looking at doing a fork swap for something 42/43mm Yamaha. Trouble is the standard steering head bearings are the bicycle type (loose ball bearings), anything 42/43mm has tapered bearings.
Question is does anyone have experience with a swap of this description ? What triple clamps did you use?

Im currently in the market for a second hand $10k single cab ute as a run around, been sussing out Hilux's mostly over the last few days...then this http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/dundowran/cars-vans-utes/1974-ford-falcon-ute/1132526188 came out of left field, always loved the shape of the fastback falcons, question is, Is it a $14k car ?
I know it's a how long is a peice of string question, I've tried to do some research but there doesn't seem to be any on the market in this condition.

Tech Talk / WP 4681 shock specs.

Anyone got a link to rebuild specs fro a wp 4681 shock.
Just had one rebuilt at a dealer and it feels like a pogo stick, zero damping. They say they can't find any specs on the shock, so have just guessed settings (oil weight, volume, air pressure etc).

Suzuki / RM 250 A,B or C?

Whats the visual difference between the rm 250 A,B and C?
Looking at one at the moment, seller says 1978 "C" , numbers say "A"
Google brings up the same bikes regardless of A, B or C search.

Currently chasing some bits for a Rotax 406 rebuild and have come across the crank bearings at $80 each for genuine !!!
the size is available at the local bearing shop for less than half the price, but the sales guy warned me that they may not be suitable for a two stroke crank application.
They are c3, 30x72x19, Des anyone know of other manufacturer that runs the same size crank bearings?

Does anyone know if the oil change process for a set of WP 4054's non adjustable, is the same as the 4054 super adjusters?
