Echuca Vinduro - 28-Sep-2014
« on: September 14, 2014, 08:12:48 PM »

The event will take place at a property about 10 kms out of Echuca just passed Stuarts Bridge, and it will be signposted on the day. The Bendigo club uses this property regularly.

No rego is required, and there won’t be any additional riding outside of the property. The course itself has been described as not overly tight, but without many open sections either. It takes about 18 minutes to complete a lap. It should be kind on old bikes.

The Bendigo MCC is planning on a laid back and enjoyable event, Finisher’s medals will be awarded.

Camping at the site is available on the Saturday night. There’ll be portable toilets on site, but not much else. More details will be available soon.

See you there.

Cheers Mick.

We are getting a nice drop of rain up this way so the riding should be perfect this weekend at Echuca Vinduro, so get along and support the BMCC since there kind enough to put on a Vinduro for all.

Regards Mick.

not a huge roll up for what was a great sat nite / sunday ride. track had some bogholes in it but only greasy, not deep. Pretty exciting on a 500 fourstroke with bald tyres!
much shorter loop than last year which was much nicer for older gents like me and the dust was blown away by a nice breeze.

Only accident occurred when I was unloading the bike at home when the ramp fell off the tailgate and the whole shebang went arse up me included :o. Neighbours thought it was hilarious. :D (and the esky falling out of the ute!)

thanks to the Pete and the boys at the club, Kev the landholder (a more enthusiastic landholder you wont find) and to Mick from EBT who rose like Nazareth to take a few pics and have a laugh around the fire..

very enjoyable weekend

I really enjoyed my weekend at the Echuca Vinduro, I got to meet some new people and even a bloke turned up and camped the night just to come and meet people and see what a Vinduro is all about, I struggled a bit with my motorbike injury's but I still managed to get over 150 photos which I will start putting up on the EBT Forum soon.

It was great meeting Kev for the first time, shit he had some funny story's to share with us all, he also did a great job on the track - loop layout and the conditions were great, thanks also to the lions club I think it was for turning up I would have starved if you never had of been there, would have been better if there was more there to support you but I did my best spending $30 on those yummo burgers and all those lollies you had went down a treat :-)

Regards Mick.
