Name the model.
« on: November 01, 2009, 08:46:19 PM »
I'm looking for help in identifying this model. I have no more info other then what appears in the photo. At first glance it appears an Eastern Bloc model of the Soviet period. The chassis might be correct although aspects of the body work have a modern feel or appearance.

Despite the tyres it appears to have some prospects of good performance in the dirt. Appearance can be deceptive and I would like to take the model for a test ride to confirm.

The model looks to be heavy in the body work and short in suspension movement but with a tag such as 'MX250' you can imagine I've had a long history of riding old heavy dangers with short suspension and getting the best performance from them. I would certainly like to confirm my claim to get the best out of old dangers by giving this model a try, if I could get a positive ID. Your help would be appreciated.

 ;) ;D

Not sure if its old enough for VMX but wouldn't mind taking her out for a couple of moto's. :)

You'd be RED Flaged before you got to the first corner Moto.

Looks like a Pre 90 model so I don't know why you guys are even interested in it.
But, if your going to purchase it I would check carefully to see how many times it's been restored.

Obviously well maintained, and from the condition of the bodywork it's been kept under sheets for quite a while.
Having said that, :-\ it must 'ave been ridden fairly hard 'cos the rear end has cracked! ;D

I mean clearly she is designed to appeal more to Honda riders.... I believe I spotted a little Tahitian Red around the chassis.  ;)

Dead set evo model I reckon, too old to thrash and too young to let you guys play with-too much travel and way too fast-you'd get spoilt. Stick to what you know and leave the really fast stuff to the passengers/lol :D
