The rain stayed away and the cloud cover kept the temp down a bit. The day ran very slow for numerous reasons and we only just managed to get 2 rounds in. All in all a good day and I even made it home in one piece.
I made a couple of changes from the charity meeting that were definitely an improvement, I'm gradually getting back up to speed.
I should add that unfortunately Steve Constable's son Adam had a bad get off in practice and needs an operation to pin his shoulder, all the best for a speedy recovery Adam.

yer it wasn`t the best day trying to keep water in the track to keep the dust down the accidents in practice and race help slow things down a couple of flaggies got knock arounded from the heat.nepean photos (has a website) got a great shot of adams off not good to hear that he needs an operation.we could of done with a little bit of the canberra rain that may of helped with the dust.pancho not a good turn up on the sliders (4/5) but still great watch anyway, kingy got a third. can you ring nev at kelens.

Gday Lads,
BIG THANKS TO: Micks, Wally and all the other officials and helpers for the day including the caretaker. Was a bit dry at nepean, The track started out in practice as the beat ive seen it. My YZ125K motor blew up. Just pulled it apart the front two bottom cylinder mounts snapped off - not sure why -probably just flogging it too hard trying to keep up with the Methanol burning elsinores. Good news is the bottom end and rod is still perfect from recent rebuild. Now trying to locate a cylinder... Any one got one 24X00...
Cheers
