cleaning seat base

hey all,

whats the best way to clean up the underside of an old RM seat base. have used scouring pads and gumption which made it come up ok, but thought there might be a better way.

Perhaps aqua blast? I've used soapy steel wool with good enough results for a rider
If you love it, lube it.

Nifty is a good plastic cleaner after wd 40 to remove any oil based poo from the chain
