Whats the rule on this?

If you push your bike across the line is that classed as a finish?

You can push your bike up to the but when you across the line You must be on the bike .

perfectly legal, John Boag did just this from memory although he didn't just push it, he ran with it!! I also believe it was for the win :o

Different racing disciplines have varying rules as to engine running ,safety, and rider input regarding that question. Consult the MoMs .ie Speedway is very firm as to how you must complete the event. Cheers.

TO QUALIFY AS A FINISHER.
I ALSO HAVE PUSHED ACROSS THE LINE
LAST TIME WITH 5 BROKEN RIBS

having read the rule book it states both must be on the bike when crossing the finish line /solos again on the bike- so is pushing the bike on the bike?if it rolls over the line with rider on the bike i can see it but pushing -no. the rule to me is open to an appeal

I agree with shoreline the rule book says you have to be on the bike, like some one said if you push it close then jump on and roll across your on the bike, if your pushing your not on it. Page 100 section 12.1d.
