I bought a train wreck 465, thing is I knew it was a train wreck when I bought it, (maybe not as a big trainwreck but one none the less) I paid probably a little more than it was worth but that was my choice , I wanted a 465.

It is slowly coming together and will have a full rebuild on the engine. That way it is done and fingers crossed will last another 30 years.

You come across all types of people here, fortunately 99% are great fellas and the 1% that aren't , well you don't see them again.

How good would it be working on the Verandah, can only dream of things like that.

Your verandah is plenty big enough bloke. Just move the table and chairs to under the clothes line and you'll be golden.

I just ride it down the stairs when I'm finished.

I have to take the bike 2kms away to start it in case a microgm / cm3 of 2/ smoke gets in the house....

She lets me get away with that but really hates it when I heat the cases in the oven to push in new bearings.

Done a little more over the last couple weeks, need to get the rear shock rebuilt and order the last few items. I know they are the wrong tank decals for an 84 model but the bike came with 2 sets, might use them (only taped on for looks) and put the money into the rear shock.

Don't forget that the swingarm stickers will make the shock work better too......
