rL250 forks
« on: October 31, 2012, 10:50:42 PM »
G'day guys, just chasing a couple of parts before I start stripping the latest project apart. I'm needing some engine mount brackets (the bigger pair of the two sets, ie.the front set) and if possible, some forks with usable chrome.
Cheers

I've got RM125A/B/C  and RM250/370 mounts if there the same...there at work if you want to compare.

Thanks mate, might be a tad difficult to compare to the non-existent ones that I don't have ;D

They're the front mounts in this pic

They are a pretty bike, really looking to getting stuck into it. Probably the new year though, when things calm down on the home front. I might try and do some part number research and see if they're the same as other models?

I might have a spare set from an RL250.  Will check the shed and get back to you tomorrow.

Hi Paul,
Probably not much help to you, but the front engine mounts are unique to the RL250 (L&M)
only. (According to Zedder)
Part number 41591-38000-126.
Would be easy enough to fabricate if you could borrow a set?  ???
Cheers
Neil

Yup..the mounts are unique to RL250..I could trace mine for a template ;) the only RL spares I have are a pair of orange frame covers.

I picked up engine mounts and a good seat from someone on the Oz trials forum. No luck with forks yet though. That rl250.com guy should be avoided, there's quite a few warnings out there from people he's ripped off.:

Still needing some rl250 forks or 35mm ts250 forks.

I bought some a while back without checking them personally and it turns out the seller couldn't use verniers properly and they're 36mm
