General Discussion / How many is enough?
« on: February 15, 2013, 06:47:47 PM »
What it really starting to erk me here is when a new person joins up (could have been a lurker for god knows how long) and advertises a bike for sale and is then jumped on by people who feel they need to ride the person down by saying "Nice first post  ::)". When it's a SPAM post, I understand the negativity but when it's a personal seller......So, my question is, how many posts would appease these self appointed Policeman of the forum?

General Discussion / Tools you've always wanted...
« on: November 23, 2012, 10:27:04 PM »
Finally, I bit the bullet and purchased a Rivnut installer - and Rivnuts. I've already found a myriad of different uses, mostly on rebuilds, but also going to busy as I build in my patio (securing TV brackets, stereo speakers etc).

So, what tools have you yearned for and bought - or still lust for?

Tech Talk / D.I.Y airfilter
« on: July 25, 2011, 02:52:13 PM »
Hit a minor snag today trying to get a replacement airfilter, but have found the correct foam to be able to make one. Question is, what the hell do I use to bond it together at the seams???? Whatever it is, has to be fuel and oil resistant....anyone done this successfully?

The CSC had their 2nd round @ Campbelltown on the 22/05/11. Luckily, it wasn't the quagmire that Monza Park descended into!

General Discussion / Amazing what can be found....

Scratching around like a chook, my mate has unearthed an IT400c from underneath a neighbours willow tree!  Numbers differ by around 7, but I don't believe there were many brought in???

Yeah, it's a "restorers dream" (to quote the real estate agents), but should form the basis for a good resto.

Tech Talk / Tank resto
« on: December 06, 2010, 05:31:30 PM »
Anyone know someone in Vic that is a capable aluminium restorer? I have bitten the bullet and decided to give my tank a freshen up to go with the rest of the bike, but as there isn't a great deal of room to maneuver a dolly inside due to the height of the tunnel, I'm looking to find someone who specialises. Any recommendations?
