Has any one got a clutch cover to fit an 88 Honda CR500?
Another one with a water pump problem....
IN IT FOR THE FUN OF IT. LIKE MR NIKE SAYS JUST DO IT.

Hi Walter, mate if you could give me some idea on a price? It's for one of the bikes Greg has in the shed at home, everything else is ok just a frozen water pump, don't want to bodgy it up as the rest of the bike is in good condition...

Hi mate
Not sure if your aware that any later cr500 clutch will fit?
The advantage of using the later cover is that it's made of alloy and not magneisium and will Never rot out again.
It also holds more oil because the later 500's had more clutch plates it has a cover so the clutch can be accessed without removing the whole cover.
The only modification required is to reroute one hose.

Forum member AdamN has a Nos cover from a 91 model for sale. This seems to be the go to modify a later model cover to fit the earlier models. Due to the low boy pipe and hose route on the 91 some changes need to be made and you have to machine the cover for clearance of the clutch.
