Husqvarna / 1982 Husky 430 minimum piston ring gap?

As far as Husky manuals go it only states maximum wear limit 0.8mm but doesn't show a minimum to fine the new ring to!
 
Just wondering what the minimum ring clearance should be and measured at what point in the bore (the manual states to measure at the base)?

From my understanding the diameter of the bore in this case is (86.95mm) 3.42 x 0.004 thou = 0.013692 (0.014) so approx 0.35mm sounds about right.
Anyone concur that this is a fair end gap for a new ring?

Husqvarna / 1984 WR240 Kick starter shaft and gears needed

Can I use other year model shafts and gears in my 1984 wr240 LC? i.e. 1979 onwards?? Also need a kick starter for this model if anyone has one out there? Cheers Dave

Husqvarna / 1975 CR250 suspension upgrade questions

As stated I have a 1975 cr250 with stock suspension (non leading axle forks and girling 12" shocks). I have been told that I could upgrade with longer shocks and leading axle forks. If anyone has done this would you be kind enough to advise me on the best set up please.

Just setting up a new 36mm mikuni on a 1975 cr250 (formerly Bing runner) and was wondering if anyone had a rough guide to start with jets.

Std 36mm
310 main
Q5 needle jet
6FJ6 needle
35 pilot
2.5 slide
Started and ran lean

Was recommended (and currently running)
420 main
R2 needle jet
6DH3 needle (middle clip)
40 pilot
Runs pretty rich with this setup.

Any recommendations? Cheers DJ
