CR125M1 Crankshaft
« on: April 29, 2013, 08:58:51 PM »
Hi , just wondering if anybody can help me with some info as I am trying to rebuild my CR125M1 crankshaft, I recently found a new connecting rod P/N 13201-360-310 that has two notches in it but what confuses me apart from the Honda chart is what big end pin and the needle bearing P/N's I need for that connecting rod  ???.

There are better (stronger) options for rods than std NOS, especially if you are to race the bike.

Hi Big K, this crank is for a sleeved down 100cc M1 elsinore, I have heard that the later conrods are stronger with some modifying of the crank halves to fit the o/s pin but I am not sure which model CR and the availibilty of parts and who can do it, any leads big K ??? .

Any engineer worth their salt could do it, Where are you located? I have rod kits here, and get the webs done locally, or you can use a Yamaha go cart rod and not bore the webs, but that works out expensive. I am in Bendigo, Victoria & can handle it if you can't find anyone close to you.
Cheers,
