Vinyl Repair
« on: January 04, 2011, 09:59:24 PM »
Any of you blokes ever use one of those leather / vinyl repair kits on a seat repair.  I could get a new cover but it only has a small tear and it is the original cover so I would prefer to keep it but only if this stuff works.

Don,t buy a cheap do it yourself kit, you can easily make the problem a lot worse.
look up vinyl welders in your yellow pages and go and see one.
Usually the weld will be good enough that you will perhaps be able to tell where it was, but others may not even notice it.
depending on the vinyl, sometimes you can get them invisible
