I know its not mx but a mate of mine has a 1980 xs1100. Its in need of some tlc , but is it worth the effort? engine runs roughly but the bike is all there. Are they a desireable model?

i have an 84 XR250 frame with a shagged motor. Does anyone know if an 83 XLX 250 motor will fit in or is it to hard?

Tech Talk / XL175 Ignition

My mate has a 74 XL175 with no spark, he has been told it will not go unless it has a fully charged 6 volt battery connected. Apparantly it is only this model that has this ignition system. Can any one advise me on this? We have drank beer n discussed this but no result, just an empty fridge.

last ridden at bulla vinduro, has barkbusters, bing carby, standard airbox not fitted but comes with it, aftermarket muffler but ugly original comes with it.
